Weightless and Emergent highlights the need to establish intimate and meaningful relationships between the immediate context and the human being. The latter conceives, assembles, and constructs structures and objects that articulate his/her connection to the world. The project draws on the concept of material culture to explore the meaningful exchange between the physical environment and the human need to rely on it to address both material and spiritual needs. Likewise, it seeks to create practical frameworks in which the use value of things is not only a conquest over reality but also a creative and aesthetic testimony.

The images bear witness, document, and shed light on the symbolic and functional value of objects, understanding the material not as a resource, but as a vehicle for thinking about culture from the perspective of simplicity.
